HARMONIZING MIND & BODY THROUGH ACUPUNCTURE AT NORTHERN WELLNESS COLLECTIVE.
Acupuncture is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involved the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body. These points known as acupuncture points or acupoints, correspond to pathways called meridians. By stimulating these points, acupuncture can help to restore the body’s natural flow of energy, promoting healing and balance.
Acupuncture has been shown to be effective in managing a wide range of conditions including:
At NWC we offer private acupuncture sessions as well as community acupuncture sessions in the Sault area.
What is the difference?
A private acupuncture session is typically coupled with a follow-up visit. This is provided to existing patients if acupuncture is a part of the patient’s treatment plan moving forward and other aspects of the patient’s health and plan need to be discussed.
Community Acupuncture is an affordable way to provide effective acupuncture treatment to the community.
When booking a community acupuncture session, you will have a 45 minute appointment where the first 15 minutes are a brief check in to discuss your concerns and the plan of treatment. Once your acupuncture needles are set, you will be able to relax in a private room while the ND moves to the next room to assist the next patient. After 30 minutes of relaxing with your needles set, the ND will return to the room to remove the needles and conclude your visit. This treatment is provided at a reduced cost which allows us to see and help more people during a certain window of time.
